This beauty carnivore animal lives mostly in India but can be also found in Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.

Conservation efforts are being made to ensure the conservation of the Bengal tigers, defining areas as protected, resulting in an increase of their population.

The Bengal tiger has continuously been used in various cultural fronts such as national symbolism, logo, sports, films and literature and has also been used as nicknames for famous personalities.

In Central India lives the Bengal Tiger, Kanha National Park has become a sanctuary for this wild animal in danger of extinction.

The Caspian, Bali, and Java tigers have disappeared.
Here in Kanha, the Wildlife Protection Society is trying to prevent the same thing from happening to the Bengal tiger.
In this park the striped felines still enjoy a natural equilibrium. A tiger needs prey and here it can be found everywhere. For now the tiger is safe from human greed in Kannha.
