
Indochinese Tiger
The Indochinese tiger (Panthera tigris corbetti) is generally smaller than Bengal and Siberian tigers.
They are distributed in Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam.
This tiger is a solitary animal and difficult to get seen as it habitat is presently in protected ans restricted access areas.
Also known as Corbett’s tiger or Phet. The subspecies is smaller than the Bengal tiger and is highly endangered. The mother of this female was killed by poachers. Recorded at Koung Si waterfall near Luang Prabang in Laos. December 2006.
