Scientific name: Pantera onca palustris

Pantera onca palustris (the largest subspecies) is found in The Pantanal regions of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, along the Paraguay River into Paraguay and northeastern Argentina.

It is known as “El yaguareté austral”.
